Terms of Service
The rules for using the Brewd app.
Effective November 5, 2026. These terms are between you and Brewd Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"), the maker of Brewd. By creating an account or using Brewd you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Using Brewd
Brewd lets you log the coffee you drink, rate it and the shops you drink it at, discover shops, and see what people you follow are logging. You need an account for most of it, you must be at least 13, and you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account.
What you post
Coffee logs, photos, notes, ratings and any shop information you add are yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and show them in Brewd as the app is built to: your logs are visible to you and people you follow who follow you back, and to the owner of a shop you tag (anonymously if you choose), as described in the Privacy Policy. Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share, or that is abusive, illegal or misleading.
No objectionable content
There is no tolerance in Brewd for sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise objectionable content, or for abusive people. Photos you upload may be checked automatically, and anything that breaks this rule can be removed. You can report any coffee log or profile from the app and block anyone from their profile. We review reports and act on them, usually within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where warranted, the account.
Shops
Shop listings come from users tagging real places (some sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors) or manual entry, and the Explore map is drawn by Apple Maps. We don’t guarantee that shop details, hours or ratings are accurate or current. It is a community-built directory, not an official source. A shop owner can ask to claim a listing; we check each claim by hand and may refuse or remove it.
Brewd Plus and shop plans
Some features are part of Brewd Plus or a shop plan, which are paid subscriptions bought through Apple’s in-app purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled in time. Prices are shown before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts or content that break these terms or put other people at risk.
No warranty, and limits on our responsibility
Brewd is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on shop information, ratings or anything else in the app, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can’t be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use Brewd after a change means you accept the updated terms.
